Welcome to the home of MECA's Sound Pressure League. Sound Pressure is about being loud, pure and simple. It's about figuring out how to get the very last possible decibel squeezed out of a car. AND, it's about having fun!
In this section, you'll find the rulebook, which you can download for a reference, State Records (which you have to be a MECA Member to qualify for), and Points Standings, to see who will and won't make it to MECA Finals. MECA is the Mobile Electronics Competition Association. We're fun and we're fair, and we love to get loud and sound good! We focus on car audio sports, including Sound Pressure League and Sound Quality League Competitions, our famous Park 'N Pound competition (where we do it from 6 feet away) and Show 'N Shine (because sometimes guys DO like the bling).
MECA's Commissioner is Steve Stern and he is supported by a Rules and Ethics Committee made up of competitors, judges and industry professionals. With members all over the US, Trinidad, Tobago, Panama and other places in the Caribbean, there's something for everyone. Come in and bask in the glow of warm alternators and warm tonality.
