I have a 89 olds cutlass calais. I have 2 optima batteries and my alternator is upgraded. My power is not an issue. However my highs and mids are. Right now i have 4 sets of alpine type 4 componets in custom boxes. the amps are alpine v12 2 channel. I have 4 of those. for some reason im not really satisfied with the sound quality. The subs that I have is not an issue. I have 3 jl dub 7's i can hear everything even if there was a chance the recording artist farted in the booth. i would hear it. but im just not completely satisfied. Am i being to greety or should i upgrade my highs and mids. oh yea the deck i have is pioneer premier deh-870mp |

wityh 4 SETS of speakers, I can understand why you are not happy. Most competitors just use one set for sound quality

what dont you like about the sound would be the first question to ask? what music doesnt sound good, what type of instrument etc. |

Furthermore, what are your cross over frequencies for the multiple components? I only run 1 set and I know when running more than 1 set, they must be crossed at different frequencies to avoid beaming. Since you didn't elaborate on this point, I'm just asking the question.
